This Semester in RUF
Samford RUF has approved a candidate for campus minister!
We are very excited to have Matthew Terrell approved to be the candidate for the new RUF campus minister at Samford! After seminary, tests, committees, more tests, lots of prayer, and examination from many wise and godly men (and more yet to come!), RUF has called Matt to come lead the ministry upon ordination in May. We can't wait until he starts!Matthew was born and raised in Atlanta (go Braves!). He met his lovely wife Megan (a Greenville, SC native) at Clemson University (go Tigers!) and somehow convinced her to marry him in 2007. The Lord led them to St. Louis for seminary in 2008, where Megan graduated with a Master of Arts in Educational Ministries (May 2011) and Matthew with a Master of Divinity (December 2011). They have one son (Eliot, born October 2011) and one crazy dog (Grizzly). Matthew loves mountains, family, sports, cities, afternoon naps, fly fishing, and grilling, among other things, and is thrilled to begin serving students through RUF at Samford.
